Scientists are reporting what they call a groundbreaking step in the war against HIV and Aids. Researchers in South Africa have discovered that a gel applied by women before or immediately after sex reduces the risk of infection. As NTV Kenya Pamela Asigi reports, this is the first time that such a substance has been shown to be effective.
