Agnes Taile: to be journalist against all odds

Her passion for journalism – radio journalism in particular – came at a young age. Agnes Taile loves “following” a story to its very bottom and she likes working “on the field”. Even though it is harder and can be more dangerous, to the point of endangering one’s own life, especially in a country like the one she is from, Cameroon, in which according to Reporters without Borders, “freedom of press is precarious”.

Egypt: Press freer, but still fettered
